For those of you who haven't heard of
Idlewild, it is an amusement park, of sorts, for little kids. The set up is pretty cool and just perfect for kids from ages 2 to probably 12 or 13. The park has several different theme areas: Storybook Forest,
SoakZone, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, a really cool play/jungle gym area, and of course tons of rides. We got to the park right when they opened and stayed until they closed. The kids did great and had a blast! We started in Storybook Forest which is a land of
fairy tales and nursery rhymes. There were so many childhood tales represented from Mother Goose, to Jack and Jill, to Little Miss Riding Hood. Some of the characters were "live' and others were just statues. It was pretty unique.
