Over the weekend I was lucky enough to get away for a girls weekend. I have a friend, Leslie, who lives just outside of DC so we spent the weekend with her. We really didin't see much in the way of typical DC sites, we were too busy eating, drinking and catching up.

I was so looking forward to getting a good view of the White House, it was the one thing I really wanted to do. Unfortunately, this is what we saw. Apparently this is the set up for the first State dinner that the Obama's are hosting.
