The Zoo

Another adventure with Jamie and Brandon!! Papa and Nana took all of us, including Aunt Janet, to the Akron Zoo. The day started out a little rough, it's not easy to take three, 2 year old toddlers anywhere, but we did it and we ended up having a great day!

Silvercreek with the Girls

We all managed to make it to Silvercreek while Jamie and Brandon were here. It wasn't a beautiful summer day, actually it sprinkled a few times while we were there. The kids had fun though, and isn't that the point!!?

John Jacob...

For a long time now, Evan's favorite song has been "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt" It has been fun to watch the evolution of his love for this song. He started by calling the song, "Evan out" which then evolved to "John Jacob". After that, he actually started singing parts of the song at random times and places. The day we took this video he had been riding his jeep and singing the song as loud as he could. He pretty much has the chorus mastered, but as you can tell we are still working on some nuances of the song.

The Twins are Here!!

Jamie, Brandon, and the girls made a recent trip to the beautiful Midwest so of course we had to have a party! It was great to have all the the Chrisopulos families here and it is so much fun to see the kids together. The girls are still a little unsure of Evan, as he is a giant compared to them. It was so nice having them in town, sure wish they lived closer!

Evan and Hannah played so nice together. Me and JamieThe grandparents escaped the madness by retreating to the front porch.

Car Wash

It has been a long time since I have posted, so some of this seems ancient.
Several weeks ago, we set out to wash the cars and to beat the heat. Evan was a great helper with the hose. I think Bill got as wet as Evan did. We also broke out the crazy sprinkler. Just another summer day!

Swimming at Silvercreek

Evan and I have been going out to Silvercreek park for some fun in the sun. We have had some great summer days and we have been enjoying them out at the lake. The water temperature is pretty good, and the lake is really clean. He loves the giant sand box, otherwise know as the "beach" and he is just happy as a clam when we are swimming.

The other day I asked Evan to show me his smile....here it is!

For the rest of that morning he wanted me to keep taking his picture as he practiced his smile.

Evan Peddles

This is Evan's first successful attempt at peddling. He does pretty well, as long as it is down hill!

Club Crowley

It's not Club Med....this is Club Crowley!


We really got a kick out of ourselves when we turned Evan's pool into our own paradise right in our front yard. It was completely hillbilly...imagine Bill sitting in the pool (see picture above), me in a lawn chair soaking my feet, while Evan played around like a wild-child. Our neighbor across the street said the only thing we were missing was a 6 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

Happy 4th

Evan did pretty good with his first fireworks. He was a little scared at first because it was so loud, but he eventually got over it and enjoyed the show. We met the usual crowd at the stadium and sat on the 20 yard line where we had a great view.

I think this picture of Evan and Anna is so funny. These two are like brother and sister when they are together.

Life is Good!

When it finally stopped raining and got above 70 we were more than ready to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. We went swimming with my friend Carrie and her two kids up near their house. Evan was a little fish, he especially loved the slides. We had a great summer day!

Daddy's Home!

All the puzzle pieces are back together again! Bill's car arrived on Thursday and Bill arrived on Friday. We are so happy to be a family, living in the same house once again!
