OBX Vacation Part 1

This picture was taken at 4:30 in the morning. Evan was SOOO excited to go on vacation. We expected that he would fall right back to sleep once we started driving....WRONG! He was wide awake and happy until after lunch time when he finally passed out. We stopped and stayed the night at our niece's house in Richmond, VA. It was nice to have a place to stay after a long day of driving. Thanks Becca and Perry!!This is Noah in his ocean front condo.

This was the first time Evan experienced real waves in the ocean. He loved it!!Sydney, Evan, Luke

This is how Noah spent most of our days at the beach! It was perfect.

Bill and his Mini Me headed out to boogie board.
Despite all of my heart attacks, Evan did a great job on the boogie board. He even rode a few waves to the shore.
It occured to me, on the last day & only after I saw other kids wearing them, that he probably should have been wearing a life vest. Bad mom, bad mom!
The only day Noah actually got out of his carseat while we were at the beach.
